                    [Title] => All about freedom
                    [Summary] => There’s a big event slated this weekend in the air-conditioned activity center of Market! Market! in the Fort and it’s all about freedom, empowerment and self-expression.

Waffle Marketing movers Auty Villarama and Rely San Agustin are organizing the affair which, by the way, isn’t a political demonstration. They’re jumpstarting summer with a two-day Freedom Camp where participants will experience the freedom to move by joining five activities–freestyle basketball, freestyle football, free climbing, zipping and freestyle dance.

It’s not that Auty just likes to eat although his size may be an indication.

Auty says food is good for the body and soul, especially food for thought.

So when Auty and another Nike drumbeater Rely San Agustin decided to strike it out on their own with events organizer Pia de los Reyes, it was no surprise they thought of food in naming their new sports marketing and events management outfit.

Anil Buxani of Sonia Trading phoned early morning after his father, Kay Sham, read the column and said he would contact Martinez who wrote the letter to The Star about the kids, nine to 12 years old, playing football for the love of the game with little support from anyone.

Anil said Sonia Trading would send soccer balls and shoes to the kids.

Carter won’t make it to Nike’s shebang. Dr. Funk is skipping the fun. Blame it on the tourism blacklist. Maybe, next year. Still, Vinsanity will prevail as in spirit or so Nike sports marketing manager Auty Villarama promises in today’s all-day program.
