[Title] => RP taps WTO legal arm for trade row with Australia
[Summary] => The Philippine government is tapping the Advisory Center for WTO Law (ACWL) of the World Trade Organization to pursue its banana trade row against Australia.

"It’s a winnable case," said Agriculture Secretary Domingo F. Panganiban, who was recently in Geneva, Switzerland to attend the WTO ministerial conference.

Panganiban said fresh banana-exporting countries such as Honduras and Costa Rica, which have previously filed unfair trade suit against Australia and won, have offered their support to the Philippines’ bid to file similar charges.
