                    [Summary] => The Hong Kong-based Asian Golf Monthly magazine has adjudged the Masters course of the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club as one of the winners in the 2001 Asian Golf Monthly Awards.


Manila Southwoods golf director Jeric Hechanova received an email dated March 5, 2002 from Asian Golf Monthly publisher Spencer Robinson confirming the award for the Best Course in the Philippines category.


"The award was based on votes cast by Asian Golf Monthly readers around the Asia Pacific Regon," Hechanova said.
