Playing the role of a villain doesn’t affect Arron’s career as he geared up being recognized as Best Supporting Actor in the 27th PMPC Awards for his performance in Juan Dela Cruz. A year after, Arron shifted in a mysterious role in the recent Philippine adaptation of the Koreanovela Pure Love. He started 2015 playing a bit role as the young Christian Vasquez in Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita. Discovered in a talent search Star Circle Quest (SCQ), Arron proved that there are more that he can offer. Aside from dancing in ASAP, he will soon be seen in the big screen via Heneral Luna under Artikulo Uno Productions. Co-managed by Cornerstone, he is also looking forward to honing his singing skills. Another decade is set to be fulfilled as he continues to be the face of Mario D’ Boro shoes, Faces & Curves, GAOC, Gold’s Gym and Premena Salon.
Known as Victor in another Koreanovela adaptation Two Wives, Urian Best Actor Jason showed his versatility in his career through the years. From various TV and film projects, Jason has shown impressive acting which opens more opportunity for him. He believes that being in this industry is not a stable career, as he already invested to own his dream house. He is brand endorser of Aficionado Perfumes, Jewels Clothing, Converse Shoes, GAOC, Cotton Club, Faces and Curves and Gold’s Gym.
Year of the Horse ended with a challenging role for Erich as she portrayed the role of the famous ’80s urban legend in Ahas Episode of Shake, Rattle & Roll XV. Erich has proven a lot from being the Promdi girl from Davao to being the SCQ grand winner and an established actress today, her acting skills has improved through numerous roles. And one of which is her recent team up with JC de Vera and Enchong Dee in Once a Princess. Even her hosting ability has been honed through co-hosting duties with Kris Aquino in Kris TV. 2015 started just right for Erich as she stars in Two Wives as Janine. Her character in the show has become a household name where she has gained admiration from following. She also remains to be the face of Robinsons Department Store, Aficionado Perfumes and GAOC. Having a smooth-sailing journey in the showbiz industry, she knows how to invest her earnings. The Breakfast Club, her first business venture has been a word of mouth as one of the favorite dining place in Quezon City which paved the way for a second branch located at Pioneer St. Brgy. Kapitolyo, Pasig. Erich has also opened an Italian resto named Piccolo Cucina Moderna in Quezon City. With all the achievements on her 10th year, Erich proves worthy to be called a grand winner.

MANILA, Philippines — Alas Pilipinas team captain Jia de Guzman has tempered expectations on their chances against a heavily favored Vietnam and in the FIVB Challenger Cup that came off the wraps at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium yesterday.
But deep inside the soft-spoken and courageous skipper and the rest of Nationals, they all dream of the same big dream – a ticket straight to the Women’s Volleyball Nations League main group next year.
And their quest begins tonight when they square off with the Vietnamese at 6:30 p.m.
The home bet is the underdog versus the Vietnamese side that swept and dominated last month’s AVC Challenge Cup at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum. The Filipinas snatched a historic bronze there.
“Well, alam naman po namin na mas malakas ang kalaban and we know our team is young. All we can ask the girls is to do its best while not putting pressure on the team that much,” said the charismatic Alas team leader.
The team lost power spiker Eya Laure and libero Jen Nierva and were replaced by Creamline’s Jema Galanza and National University’s Bella Belen.
Belen’s teammate, Alyssa Solomon, and Galanza’s fellow Creamline star, Tots Carlos, were enlisted into the pool but will not be able to join due to undisclosed reasons.
“It’s great to have new reinforcements in the pool. Experience-wise, marami ang mako-contribute nila sa team,” said De Guzman of Galanza and Belen.
Intriguingly, Nierva’s last-minute withdrawal left the squad with one legitimate libero in Dawn Catindig.
Cherry Nunag was listed as the team’s second libero although she’s known as a natural middle blocker.
The other members of the team are Faith Nisperos, Fifi Sharma, Vannie Gandler, Julia Coronel, Angel Canino, Dell Palomata, Arah Panique, Thea Gagate and Sisi Rondina.
The trek to that VNL dream is long and arduous though as Alas Pilipinas would need to win all its games against Vietnam, the semis and eventually the finals, assuming it could make it that far, to realize it.
In the opener of the meet, Puerto Rico turned back a feisty Kenya 25-20, 25-19, 27-25, to advance to the semis.
Teenage sensation Grace Mar Lopez Villanueva went on attack mode and fired 19 points including 18 on kills while Diana Reyes scattered 10 hits.
Pamella Adhiambo Owino tried to put up a fight for the Kenyans by unloading a match-best 22 points. most of which came in the third set when they tried
to put up a fight and steal the set before eventually falling short in the end.
