A body of a nine-year-old boy was found in the Pasig River in Binondo, Manila yesterday.


Police said the boy, identified as Anthony Rendillo, had been swimming in the river.


Investigator Paul Dennis Javier, of Manila Police District’s homicide division, said Rendillo’s body was found by personnel of the Philippine Port Control Center, who were patrolling near Delpan Bridge at around 9 in the morning.
