SA PAPEL maganda ang Supermaids program ni President Gloria Arroyo na mag-aangat sa $400 kada buwan ng suweldo ng OFW domestic helpers. Sa praktikal, tila problema ang idudulot nito.


Sa ngayon ang nagawa na ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) ay i-train ang nag-aasam mag-Supermaid sa basic skills na pagluluto at pagkumpuni sa bahay. Ang Philippine Overseas Employment Authority (POEA) naman, nangakong hindi na sisingil ng kahit ano’ng deployment fees, at tinaasan ang minimum age ng Supermaids sa 25 anyos mula 21.
