                    [Summary] => ZAMBOANGA CITY — The commander of the Abu Sayyaf’s urban terrorist unit and his father were killed in a shootout when Army Scout Rangers and military intelligence agents raided his hideout in a coastal barangay here yesterday.


Amilhamja Ajijul, alias Alex Alvarez, died at the scene while his  father, Asnalul, was dead on arrival at the Quinipot District Hospital.


Asnalul had a bullet wound in the head.


Four other Abu Sayyaf terrorists were arrested during a raid in Sitio Calabasa in Quinipot district at about 3 a.m.

Labing-tatlo sa 17 Sayyaf na nahatulan ng bitay ni Basilan RTC Branch 2 Judge Danilo Bucoy ay ibiniyahe kamakalawa ng gabi sa Metro Manila at idineretso sa National Bilibid Prisons sa Muntinlupa City.
