Iemagine.com, a leading US provider of rental applications (ASP) disclosed
yesterday plans to help the Philippines boost its technological capability to
compete with the rest of the world.

The announcement came on the heels of a report by the American Electronics
Association (AEA) that the Philippines has become the fastest growing market in
the world for US high-tech exports.

The AEA said "US imports from the Philippines grew at an accelerated rate of
$7.9 billion in 1999, more than half of which came in the form of
semiconductors."

The report also disclosed "a 17-fold
