[Title] => Should I go green?
[Summary] => I get so confused with health-obsessed friends telling me to buy only organic produce, and other friends telling me not to as they are not yet proven to be really "organic." I have bought organic vegetables in different organic markets and groceries but frankly speaking, I don’t find any difference in taste compared to the non-organic. 1also try to rationalize that my parents and I have eaten non-organic vegetables all these years and nothing bad has happened to us. My question is, what qualifies as organic? Are there guidelines in the classification of organic produce?

[Summary] => I am a 70-year- old widow, and living on the cash savings which my late husband left for me. I have no other source of income. Lately the effective interest rate (after tax) on my deposit has shrunk from 10 percent to 3.3 percent in less than three months effectively reducing my income to 30 percent of what it used to be. While I read in the papers that this is good for the economy, all I know is that now I have to borrow money for my basic needs. Why is this happening and what else can I do to alleviate my situation?
