The leadership system is incredibly weak, without vision or ideology, without the requisite forces to break through a host of formidable obstacles and restore sanity. The economy has no dynamo, without the means to feed a poverty-stricken population of 85 million. There is hardly any law and order in a nation that foolishly styles itself free and democratic. Graft and corruption remain the twin monsters that devour the wealth of the country.

But Prometheus was just biding his time. One of the great Titans known for his wile and guile, a trickster non-pareil, Prometheus eventually stole the fire and returned it to Earth.
