[Title] => Lisa Macuja-Elizalde celebrates 20 years of dance
[Summary] =>
Twenty years may be a long time considering that you count generations by it. Parents often feel relieved when, after 20 years, a child will have completed his education. Just one more year, at 21, a couple may finally marry without their parents consent.
But for Lisa Macuja-Elizalde, who is celebrating this year her 20th year as a Philippine-based ballerina, 20 years is still a short time. In fact, she declares, "The best is yet to come."

[Title] => A Giselle thats full of dance and drama
[Summary] => I have a confession to make. I have only seen the ballet Giselle once in my life. It was a splendid production by Ballet Philippines, with Cecile Sicangco in the lead, partnered by the dashing Cuban-born danseur Julio Bocca as Albrecht. The backcloth might have been as unimaginative as a pasteboard Nativity set, but the drama in Act I and the dancing in Act II swept me off my feet. I can still remember Sicangcos face as her Giselle loses her mind. So, too, Boccas effortless leaps into the air.

[Title] => Pacquiao backs off from wrestler
[Summary] => World Boxing Council (WBC) International superbantamweight champion Manny Pacquiao squared off with 275-pound former pro wrestler Achim Albrecht at the World Gym in San Francisco recently  but posed only for pictures, stopping short of trading punches.
Kibitzers asked Pacquiao if he would spar with Albrecht, a 1992 Mr. Universe, known as Brakus in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) during a brief career that ended in injury two years ago. "Mahirap na," said Pacquiao. "Baka magising na lang ako sa hospital."
