[Summary] => A pilot mass feeding program for malnourished children in depressed communities in the Caloocan-Malabon-Navotas-Valenzuela (CAMANAVA) area was launched last Wednesday in Barangay Tangos, Navotas.
Navotas Mayor Toby Tiangco, in simple rites at the Navotas National High School (Tangos) campus, lauded the efforts of the project initiators, Kabisig ng Lahi, a task force created by Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Corazon Soliman, with socio-civic leaders Vicky Wieneke, Aimee Gloria and former beauty titlist Joanne Zapanta-Andrada at the forefront.
