Our President, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, was in Egypt and most of the people here didn’t even know about it – or her.  I had actually met Egyptians who still think that Ferdinand Marcos is the Philippine president.  When I tell people that we have a woman as our head of state, it is only then that they would realize  they were wrong, apologize for the error, and think of Corazon Aquino.
