                    [Summary] => The Metro Manila Police is revitalizing its anti-drug units to further intensify the government’s campaign against illegal drugs following an order from President Arroyo.


Drug Enforcement Units at the Western Police District (WPD) headquarters and 11 police stations will be dissolved to pave the way for the creation of the anti-illegal drug task force.


Senior Supt. Juanito de Guzman, WPD deputy director for administration, said the task force will  complement the operation of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
