[Summary] => ZAMBOANGA CITY Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) rebels continued their rampage by attacking a town and ambushing two buses, killing at least 16 civilians and taking policemen and commuters hostage, the military and rebels said yesterday.
The military used helicopter gunships to repulse the latest attacks, in which about 20 people were also wounded.
Four people were killed when their bus was waylaid by guerrillas in Carmen, North Cotabato late Wednesday.
