'Suki DASH' run race slated August 30

MANILA, Philippines — Mercury Drug Corporation is stepping into the running scene with the launch of the Mercury Drug Suki DASH 2026, a new community race that aims to encourage Filipinos to make health and wellness part of their everyday lifestyle.
Tying up with premier race organizer RUNRIO, the inaugural staging is set for August 30 at the Filinvest City Events Grounds in Alabang where thousands of runners are expected to gather for a race built around fitness, preventive healthcare, and community engagement.
"The Suki DASH reflects our commitment to helping Filipinos embrace preventive healthcare and make wellness part of their daily lives," said Mercury Drug Vice President for Chain Store Operations - Metro Manila Martin Gumayan.
The race is guided by the tenets of Dedicated Advocacy for Sustainable Health (DASH), a movement that reflects Mercury Drug’s long-standing commitment for eight decades to supporting and promoting the nation’s health.
"The Mercury Drug Suki DASH is designed for everyone — from first-time runners to seasoned racers," said RUNRIO general manager Andrew Neri. "We want to create an experience that inspires people to keep moving, prioritize their health, and enjoy running together as a community."
Race categories include 10K, 5K and 3K races with organizers promising a festive race atmosphere complete with a special finisher's medal, premium race kits, wellness activities, and community engagement programs that reinforce the event's advocacy of sustainable health.
