MANILA, Philippines — Far Eastern University ended its elimination round stint in the most low-maintenance way possible, as Forza's default handed the Lady Tamaraws a walkover to close their elimination-round campaign in the PFF Futsaliga.

The result at the House of Futsal at PhilSports Arena in Pasig was inconsequential in terms of FEU's standing — they had long secured top spot — but it capped an unbeaten run in the women’s division, which makes them the clear favorites heading into the Cup semifinals of the tourney presented by the Philippine Sports Commission.

Beach Hut FC kept the pressure on with a 3-1 victory over Azzurri, finishing the elimination round in second place and firmly in the hunt. The hero of the hour was Samantha Toledo, whose late brace proved the difference and earned her the Bootcamp Player of the Match award. Toledo's match-winning contribution capped a strong campaign for Beach Hut, who will now carry genuine semifinal ambitions into May 10.

The Azkals Development Club (ADC) secured a Cup semis berth with a composed 4-1 win over the University of Makati (UMak), with national team player Shai del Campo delivering a standout contribution, scoring a brace. Del Campo scored twice to lead ADC home, reaffirming her quality at this level and providing a timely reminder of the firepower ADC can call upon when it matters.

The most gripping match of the Women's Division match day came in the clash between Enderun Colleges and Philippine Women's University (PWU), a tense 4-3 affair that had everything. Enderun needed the win to secure their Cup semis slot, and it was captain Kry Palangpangan who set the tone with a crucial second half brace that put her side in control early.

Enderun held on to claim their fourth win of the elimination round and book the final ticket to the Cup semifinals. PWU, despite a spirited showing by El Tolentino, will shift their focus to the Plate race.

The women's division Cup semifinal pairings are set: FEU versus Enderun Colleges, and ADC against. Beach Hut FC. FEU, ADC and Beach Hut maintained their 1-2-3 positions in the final standings, with Enderun's clutch win over PWU the decisive result that completed the bracket.

The men's division match day produced its share of standout moments, beginning with Enderun Colleges' authoritative 7-3 dismantling of Philippine Women's University, a result that secured second place for the Titans and a Cup semis berth in the bargain.

Leading the charge was Theo Appiah, who delivered a hat-trick performance that was as clinical as it was decisive. Appiah's haul was the centerpiece of a dominant Enderun display, and the Titans will carry considerable momentum into the semifinals.

The afternoon's most dramatic match was the clash between Tondo FC and ADC, a fiercely contested encounter that ended 3-3.

Both sides threw everything at each other in search of a winner that never came, but it was Tondo's MJ Libre who delivered the most memorable moment — a game-tying goal in the dying seconds that earned him the Bootcamp Player of the Match award.

For ADC, the draw was enough. They close the elimination round undefeated and at the top of the Men's Division table, entering the semifinals as the side everyone else must beat.

PUP Radicals signed off on the elimination round in emphatic style, routing Sporting QC, 12-1, in a display that was as ruthless as the score line suggests.

Sean Edison Micarte led the goal-scoring rampage for the Radicals, who finished the day with a statement that — while it came too late to influence the semifinal picture — announced them as a force for the Plate semis.

The most consequential result of the men's division match day, however, was the University of Asia and the Pacific's (UA&P) 6-2 victory over the UMak. The Dragons needed the win to leapfrog Tondo FC — which was held to a draw by ADC — and claim the last Cup semifinals ticket.

In a notable subplot, it was goalkeeper Carlos Tiu who stood out in UA&P's balanced attacking display, earning recognition for a performance that went well beyond his defensive duties. UA&P's reward is a Cup semifinal date against the unbeaten ADC.

The men’s semifinals are set: ADC versus UA&P , and Enderun Colleges against PWU — a rematch that promises to be even more intense the second time around.

The Cup and Plate semifinals of both the Women's and Men's Divisions are scheduled for May 10 at the same venue, with matches beginning at 8 a.m. Fans are encouraged to come early and witness the next chapter of the PFF Futsaliga 2026 season. (PFF pool story)
