MANILA, Philippines — A familiar face is returning to the fold for the Phoenix Fuel Masters.

Johnathan Williams will be Phoenix’s reinforcement moving forward, the team announced Thursday.

Williams led the Fuel Masters to a semifinal berth in the PBA Season 48 Commissioner’s Cup. There, he was also crowned the Best Import of the Conference.

Now, he will be back for Phoenix, replacing James Dickey III.

Dickey did not suit up in the Fuel Masters’ 130-103 loss in their last game against the Converge FiberXers.

Head coach Charles Tiu reportedly said he thinks Dickey could have played through his injury.

The team is currently holding a 5-4 win-loss record, good for sixth in the standings.
