CSB five-peat or Letran glory?

Joey Villar - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines —  College of St. Benilde aims to extend its dynastic reign to a fifth year in row while Letran hopes to set a new order as the two face off today one final time in NCAA Season 101 women’s volleyball at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

The Lady Blazers took Game Two, 25-18, 25-21, 27-25, Wednesday to level the short but sweet series to one game apiece and send it into a no-tomorrow showdown at 3 p.m.

“If we are willing and determined like in this game (Game Two), we’ll have a strong chance,” said CSB middle-blocker Zam Nolasco, the season MVP who dropped 19 points in the series-tying win.

But the Lady Knights are as determined to come out, bounce back from Game Two defeat and end a 27-year title drought.
