Loman, Drex Zamboanga eye fighting on same Brave card

MANILA, Philippines —Filipino mixed martial artists Stephen Loman and Drex Zamboanga are hoping that they will be seeing action in the same fight card this year.
Loman and Zamboanga were signed in the Brave Combat Federation last year.
And now, the two are expected to fight in the second quarter of 2026.
In a statement, Loman said that he is hoping they would be seeing action on the same show.
"We were together under a different promotion before, but I never got the chance to fight on the same card with Drex. Now that we are both here, I hope we can showcase Philippine pride together," Loman said.
The two previously strut their stuff in ONE Championship.
Zamboanga, for his part, echoed his compatriot’s sentiment.
"It would be even better if we compete on the same card. I know many Filipinos will be tuning in, and it will be a moment to celebrate our country together,” he said.
Loman was a former Brave bantamweight world champion, holding the title for 1,179 days and defending it four times.
“The Sniper” then took his talents to ONE FC. He last fought in September 2023 – a unanimous-decision loss against John Lineker.
And last year, he returned to Brave.
"I am delighted to write a new chapter in my career with Brave CF," Loman stated. "This marks the start of full Filipino representation in the promotion again, and I could not be more excited.”
In February last year, Zamboanga, who holds a 14-6 professional win-loss record, was signed by Brave.
"I see Brave CF as a place where Filipinos can get exposure, thrive, and take their careers to the next level. Stephen and I are ready to show that the Philippines belongs on the international stage of mixed martial arts," Zamboanga said.
