Taekwondo center at RMSC

MANILA, Philippines — Philippine taekwondo’s dream of having a home of its own will become a reality before the year ends.
It was made official after the Philippine Sports Commission and the Philippine Taekwondo Association yesterday signed a memorandum of agreement highlighted by the ground-breaking ceremony at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
The National Taekwondo Center will be built inside the historic complex and will take the place of the old Rizal Bowling Alley. If things fall into place, the project will be finished by December.
It wasn’t difficult for PTA secretary-general Rocky Samson PSC chair Patrick Gregorio to come to an agreement building the new taekwondo venue which could also be used to host competitions.
