Junior Lady Altas roar on

MANILA, Philippines — The Perpetual Help Junior Lady Altas made it two in a row in the NCAA Season 101 Volleyball Fiesta with a dominant 25-7, 25-17 win over the San Beda Lady Red Cubs yesterday at the Arellano Gym in Pasay City.

The Junior Lady Altas roared on with solid games from hitter Sherrie Acosta, middle blocker Isabel Baser and setter Jasmine Monte.

Acosta delivered 10 points with nine on attacks plus an ace while Baser put in seven points while Monte contributed 27 excellent sets and five digs.

Rookie Joycelle Casil, Arianne Casillan and Janine Espiritu also made their presence felt.

Meanwhile, Kim Culanay led the charge for SBU.
