Lady Altas strike again

MANILA, Philippines —   The Perpetual Help Lady Altas chalked up a second straight win in the NCAA Season 101 women’s volleyball tournament with a 25-19, 25-21, 25-21 drubbing of the JRU Lady Bombers at the San Andres Gym in Malate, Manila yesterday.

Jemalyn Menor drilled in 14 points, 13 on attack, and delivered seven excellent receptions and five digs while Shaila Omipon added 11 points and libero Joanne Lozana contributed 15 digs and eight excellent receptions as the Lady Altas revved up after a five-set grind-out win over the St. Benilde Lady Blazers.

JRU made it a split versus Perpetual after the Heavy Bombers defeated the Altas Spikers, 25-17, 26-28, 25-22, 17-25, 15-9.
