MANILA, Philippines — Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino on Monday presided over the POC’s first general assembly for 2026 at the East Ocean Palace Hotel in Paranaque City. 

The national Olympic body evaluated Philippine sports’ accomplishments for the previous year— including the 33rd Southeast Asian Games last month in Thailand. 

“The assembly also solidified bonds among national sports associations with a belated Christmas and New Year’s celebration,” the POC said.
