Loman upbeat on 2026 MMA campaign

MANILA, Philippines — New year, new beginnings for Stephen Loman.
Loman, who signed with Brave Combat Federation last year, is entering the new year with a renewed fire for competition.
The Filipino mixed martial artist is newly hitched, marrying his longtime partner Sheryl last December 20.
And now, he enters 2026 eager to fight after two years away from competition.
“I am just thankful that I get to end 2025 on such a hopeful note,” he said.
“After everything we went through, this feels like a blessing I will always cherish,” he added.
Loman signed a multi-bout contract with Brave in December last year, marking his return to the organization where he ruled the bantamweight division for years.
“I am truly excited for 2026 because it guarantees that I will finally be back doing what I love,” Loman said. “This opportunity gives me something to look forward to every single day.”
He bared that he has returned to training at the Landslide Martial Arts Training Center, the headquarters of Lions Nation MMA, as he readies himself for a potential bout in April.
“I am determined to seize every opportunity in 2026. I am ready to work, to compete, and to show that I still belong at the top.”
