MANILA, Philippines — The New York Knicks won the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup championship after outlasting the San Antonio Spurs, 124-113, in Las Vegas Wednesday (Manila time).

OG Anunoby and Jalen Brunson starred for the title-hoisting squad, with the former producing 28 points, nine rebounds and three assists, and the latter posting 25 markers, eight dimes and four boards along with two swats.

Brunson was named the Emirates Cup Most Valuable Player.

“You know, anytime you can participate in any event where you're the last one standing and you're able to hang a banner, especially in iconic MSG, you take that seriously. And all of our guys took it seriously,” New York head coach Mike Brown said after the game.

The Knicks trailed by five, 89-94, heading into the fourth quarter.

But a massive 11-1 run capped by a triple by Anunoby turned things around, 100-95, with 9:28 remaining.

And while Harrison Barnes snapped the run, huge shots by Jalen Brunson pushed the lead to seven, 104-97, with 8:01 left.

A pair of freebies by Victor Wembanyama sliced the deficit to three, 107-110, with 3:55 to go, but finishing touches by Brunson, Josh Hart, Anunoby and Tyler Kolek iced the game.

Karl-Anthony Towns had a double-double for the Knicks with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Jordan Clarkson provided the spark off the bench with 15 markers. Tyler Kolek had 14 points, while Hart and Bridges finished with 11 apiece.

Dylan Harper powered the Spurs with 21 points and seven rebounds, while Wembanyama had 18 markers and six boards in 25 minutes of play.
