Ramsay, Co reign at EastWest golf

MANILA, Philippines —  Derek Ramsay emerged as the overall champion, with Anthony See (Class A), Ramon Ching (Class B), Rodolfo Cruz (Class C) and Stephanie Mae Co (ladies) topping separate classes in the recent 2nd EastWest Golf Invitational at the Mimosa Plus in Clark, Pampanga.

Fun hole winners were Alex Yu (nearest the pin), Gab Martin Angeles (longest drive), Anthony See (longest putt) and Edward Chua (most accurate drive).

EastWest CEO Jerry Ngo said the 18-hole event played an important role in building stronger relationships with their clients through shared experiences that go beyond traditional banking.

The tournament brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, executives and media partners for a day of friendly competition, networking and leisure in one of the country’s premier golf destinations. With participants from various industries and segments, the event created an easy space for meaningful conversations in a relaxed, premium venue.

Guests enjoyed a ceremonial tee-off, 18-hole tournament play, and post-round celebrations featuring raffle prizes, special recognitions, and a gathering among peers. The event also highlighted the synergy within the Filinvest Group—particularly meaningful this year as Filinvest Development Corporation (FDC) celebrates its 70th anniversary—with Mimosa Plus, an FDC property, providing world-class backdrop for the occasion.
