Tsuzurabara bids Angels goodbye

MANILA, Philippines — Sayonara Koji Tsuzurabara.

The Petro Gazz Angels have parted with their Japanese coach, who’s leaving the team just months after steering the franchise to a breakthrough PVL All-Filipino Conference crown.

Tsuzurabara, 60, has posted on his social media account a farewell message to the team and all their supporters.

In the same post, Tsuzurabara thanked Petro Gazz volleyball operations head Oliver Almadro for recommending him to be the team’s head coach.

“I’m so grateful,” he said.
