NU-Tay Tung rematch set

MANILA, Philippines — National U-Nazareth School and Bacolod Tay Tung arranged a titular showdown after dispatching their respective foes in the Shakey’s Girls Volleyball Invitational League (SGVIL) Rising Stars Cup Division 1 yesterday at the La Salle Greenhills Gym.

The Lady Bullpups swept Emilio Aguinaldo College, 25-16, 25-15, 25-11, while the Thunderbolts wiped out of La Salle-Lipa, 25-20, 25-15, 25-18, to set today’s finale.

It will be the second straight championship duel between the Big City bet and Western Visayas pride after a fiery title fight in the 2025 Palarong Pambansa last week in Laoag, Ilocos Norte. NUNS won theat clash and the Palaro crown.
