CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — A man wanted for murder and attempted murder was killed when he allegedly resisted arrest and fired at police in Barangay Palingon, Calamba City on Saturday.

Police said they were about to serve warrants of arrest issued by three judges in Laguna against Mark Lee when the latter fired and threw a grenade at them, prompting them to retaliate.

Lee, 30, was tagged as the Most Wanted Person at the regional police level. His live-in partner, Rowena Manila, was also arrested for direct assault and obstruction of justice.
