CJHGC: A gem open to public

MANILA, Philippines —   Key officials from the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), John Hay Management Corp. (JHMC), Landco Lifestyle Ventures, Golfplus Management Inc. and DuckWorld PH figured in a friendly recently at the Camp John Hay Golf Club.

BCDA president and CEO Joshua Bingcang, another BCDA official Mark Torres and JHMC president/CEO Marlo Quadra were among the participants in the event marking the recent reopening of the Baguio paradise golf club.

Previously operated by CJH Development Corporation’s subsidiary CJH Golf Club Inc., the facilities were recovered by the BCDA following a Supreme Court ruling. The development led to the turnover of The Manor and Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay, including the CPA-John Hay Trade and Cultural Center to Landco which will serve as interim operator for one year, extendable to two years. GMI and DuckWorld PH, meanwhile, have been tapped to manage the golf club.

From being a bulwark of exclusivity, CJHGC has been opened to the public.
