Quezon belles strike at home turf

MANILA, Philippines — League leader Quezon clinched the first twice-to-beat semifinal bonus in the Maharlika Pilipinas Volleyball Association Season 1 with a 25-21, 25-20, 25-23 smothering of Rizal St. Gerrard Charity Foundation at home at the Quezon Convention Center.

Cristy Ondangan scored 13 points on nine hits and four blocks, Mary Grace Borromeo added 12 while Rhea Mae Densing and Francis Mycah Go had 11 each as Quezon swept its homestand after also taking care of business against AM Caloocan Air Force, 23-25, 25-14, 25-21, 25-12, on Saturday.
