Blazers, Cardinals go for 7-2 slates

The Blazers played horrendously in their last two outings, escaping past the San Sebastian Stags, 96-94, in overtime and succumbing to the Arellano U Chiefs, 73-71, to fall into a tie with the Mapua Cardinals with 6-2 slates.

They battle the Bombers, who improved to 3-5 with a 75-63 win over the Emilio Aguinaldo Generals Saturday, at 11 a.m. today with nothing in mind than sealing the the No. 1 spot entering the second round of the elims.

But JRU coach Louie Gonzales vowed to give CSB a run for its money.

“We will do our best to give them a fight,” said Gonzales.
