Suzuki, Ng rule Luisita Jr. golf

MANILA, Philippines — Shinichi Suzuki ruled the boys’ 15-18 division while Reese Ng topped the girls’ side in the recent Luisita Junior Championship presented by Play Golf and Pin High Golf Shop.

Suzuki and Ng are to represent the Philippines in the Asia Pacific Golf Confederation Junior Championships next month.

Emil Hernandez ran away with the trophy in the boys’ 13-14 group and so did Precious Zaragosa in the girls’ category.

In the boys’ 11-12, it was a showdown between golf buddies Race Manhit and Ryu Suzuki, with the former emerging the winner, as Keisha Que ruled the distaff side.

Adrian Irinco and Felice Tambunting emerged as winners in the 9-10 bracket while Cole Galvez and Winter Serapio reigned in the eight-under bracket.
