MPL Philippines welcomes Aurora Gaming

MANILA, Philippines – The Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines has announced that Aurora Gaming will make its debut in the league’s upcoming Season 14.

Taking over the slot vacated by Minana EVOS, which announced its departure from the league earlier this month, Aurora Gaming announced on their Facebook page that the team will be led by the royal duo of Johnmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna and Danerie "Wise" Rosario, commonly known as the V33wise duo.

Villaluno and Rosario had been part of Blacklist International and made MPL Philippine history with three MPL Philippine titles under their belt, as well an M3 World Championship crown back in 2021.

Aurora is a Serbian esports organization founded in 2022, competing in the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS). In 2023, it acquired the former Dota2 roster of Talon Esports and has teams competing in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) and Warcraft. 

The squad’s upcoming debut in MPL PH Season 14 marks Gaming's first venture into the MLBB scene.

Besides Villaluno and Rosario, Aurora Gaming's official roster will be announced during an offline event at 6 p.m. on July 27 at the PARQAL Mall in Parañaque.
