MANILA, Philippines – With San Miguel a win away from the PBA Philippine Cup finals, forward Don Trollano said the Beermen should not be complacent going into Game 4.

San Miguel will try to sweep the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena to stay on track of winning back-to-back championships.

With their backs against the wall, the Elasto Painters would try to keep themselves alive.

Trollano, after their 117-107 Game 3 win, said the series is far from over.

“We should not be complacent. The series is not yet over. This is a race to four wins, so we just gotta be focused on the game,” he told reporters.

“We cannot be complacent even though we are up 3-0.”

Trollano came up big in Game 3 for the defending champions with 20 points, 11 rebounds and three assists.

He is one of three Beermen who finished with at least 20 points, after CJ Perez with 23 and Marcio Lassiter with 21.

These performances came up big for the team that saw a rare off-night from big man June Mar Fajardo, who tallied just 11 points and 11 rebounds.

The high-octane offense of San Miguel will definitely be needed against the gritty Elasto Painters.

“For me, I just thought that I needed to step up. I was just at the perfect place and perfect time,” Trollano said.

Earlier in the day, Meralco will try to go up 3-1 against crowd darling Barangay Ginebra at 4:30 p.m.
