HoYoverse's Zenless Zone Zero opens global pre-registration

MANILA, Philippines – HoYoverse, the creators of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, has announced the global pre-registration of its new game, Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ), for PC, mobile and PlayStation 5.

The game developer's new title is an urban fantasy action role-playing game that sees contemporary civilization trying to move forward after the "Hollows" calamity. The game features players exploring the futuristic metropolis of "New Eridu" as they take on the role of a Proxy — a professional specializing in guiding people in their exploration of Hollows, battling monsters known as "Ethereals" and unraveling the mysteries of the last urban civilization.

Though ZZZ is not an open-world game and has more similarities with HoYoverse's Honkai Impact 3rd that other popular titles Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, the unique art style and dynamic storytelling are still present in the game's previews and trailers. And like other HoYoverse games, it utilizes a gacha system for new characters and equipment and a stamina system for explorations and other mechanics.

The pre-registration campaign is open across PC, mobile and PS5 platforms with a release date set mid-2024.
