PNVF Under-18 titles up for grabs

MANILA, Philippines — The UAAP bets take centerstage in the girls’ play while provincial squads will share the spotlight in the boys’ division as the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) crowns its new Under-18 champions today at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

High school powerhouse squads National University and Santo Tomas slug it out in a fiery duel at 3 p.m. after trouncing all rivals on their way to the girls’ final.

In the boys’ division, it’s an explosive battle between the powers from North Luzon and Central Luzon as Umingan, Pangasinan and Angatleta Sports-Orion, Bataan also try to cap their unbeaten runs at 5:30 p.m.

UST and NU both scored easy wins in the semifinals to arrange a title showdown.
