From Taiwan, Animam goes Down Under

MANILA, Philippines — Gilas Pilipinas women anchor Jack Animam is bound for Australia in another stop of her rising international career.

Animam, 25, has signed with the Ringwood Hawks in the National Basketball League 1 (NBL1) in the Land Down Under as reported by the Australia-based outlet Philippine Times.

The 6-foot-5 ace is coming off a solid stint with Wuhan Shengfan in the Women’s Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA), where she became the first Filipina import.

Animam previously played pro ball for Radnicki Kragujevac in Serbia as well as Toulouse Metropole and USO Mondeville in France.
