The record-breaking number marks the biggest 7-Eleven Run yet!

MANILA, Philippines — Convenience store giant 7-Eleven brought the community together again this 2024 for the 12th installment of their annual fun run. Participants raced to the finish line for their health and wellness across three venues in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The Manila leg was set at the Quirino Memorial Grandstand last February 3 to 4, while the cities of Iloilo and Cagayan de Oro joined the event for the first time.

Apart from holding the run in three new places, this year’s installment also made history with its number of attendees.

"This is the biggest run of 7-Eleven with over 40,000 participants," shared Philippine Seven Corporation President and CEO Jose Victor Paterno, who also notably fired the starting gun for the 42K division. It was a great turnout considering part of the run’s proceeds will once again go to the brand’s charity organization, Philseven Foundation.

Paterno added, “We’re immensely grateful for everyone who supported the run, and we’re looking forward to an even bigger event in the years to come.”

7-Eleven’s brand partners also didn’t miss the chance to join in on the fun, gracing the streets with treats and goodies for the crowd. In total, 50 sampling booths were stationed in Manila, and 21 each were set up for both Iloilo and Cagayan de Oro.

Sponsors for the 7-Eleven Run included Sip, Mogu Mogu, Oreo, Selecta Cornetto, Pocari, Del Monte Fit n Right, Kopiko Lucky Day, Nature’s Spring, Gatorade, Summit, Le Minerale, Cali, C2, Coca-Cola, Absolute, Nova, Pepsi, Refresh, Cobra, Mountain Dew, Wilkins, Sting and Nutriboost.
