100 fights up in NCA Derby

MANILA, Philippines — The National Cockers Alliance resumes its circuit with a 6-Cock Derby at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig today.

Gov. Casimiro Ynares Jr. and Boy Torres host the event that will feature more than 100 fights, with Eddie Gonzales, Cong. Ador Pleyto, Bong Pineda, Tony Marfori, Rene Medina, Loui Madlambayan, EF Sta Maria, Raymond dela Cruz, Albert Dichaves, Padz Bareda, Joseph Labrador, Pipo Soliman, Jojo Gatlabayan and Jun Jinco among the participants.

In the first 6-Cock NCA derby, Binangonan of Gov. Casimiro Ynares Jr. and Rizal Knights-RV IX of Jojo Gatlabayan emerged as co-champs, with Binangonan Highlander, Bulldog, Mavins and PS Mayap as runners-up.

The third NCA Derby will be on Feb. 27 at the same venue.
