MANILA, Philippines – Ced Domingo has been officially released by the Creamline Cool Smashers, the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) team announced Friday.

Domingo, who won four championships and a Finals MVP award with the team, played for Thailand’s Nakhon Ratchasima last year.

Despite this, Creamline still had her rights, but then announced Domingo’s departure from the team.

“Maraming salamat sa galing, husay at puso na ibinigay mo inside and outside the court at higit sa lahat bilang isang Creamline Cool Smasher,” the team said in a post on X (formerly Twitter.)

“Your Creamline Family wishes you endless success & more hataw na good vibes!” it added.

The STAR reported Thursday that Domingo has committed to the Akari Chargers.

Citing a source, the STAR said that the Chargers are just waiting for Domingo to sign a contract.

Also on Friday, the PVL announced that former F2 Cargo Mover Kim Fajardo officially signed with the PLDT High Speed Hitters.

"I want to be challenged in the new system. I want to keep learning," Fajardo said.

“I want to bring back my previous condition. It's very achievable as long as I have the proper mindset and the guidance of my new coaches and teammates. It's just exciting to think that everything is new," she added.
