MANILA, Philippines — Unfazed by the presence of the Asian Tour regulars, Tony Lascuña heads to The Country Club course for the ICTSI The Country Club Match Play Invitational reeling off Tuesday in Laguna.
“I always see to it that I’m always ready for every tournament,” said the multi-titled Lascuña, who will turn 53 next month but remains one of the most-feared players on Tour.
Lascuna will once again rely on his trusty 3-wood and rescue clubs in trying to contain the likes of Miguel Tabuena, Justin Quiban, Lloyd Go and veteran Angelo Que, on a break from the Asian Tour.
“The length (at TCC) will be my most challenge,” said Lascuna.
The only four-time OOM winner in the Pilipinas Golf Tournaments, Inc. circuit said his fellow PGT regulars are also ready for a crack at the crown, including Jhonnel Ababa, Reymon Jaraula, Ira Alido and Rupert Zaragosa.
