PBA, pro boxing at PSA Forum

MANILA, Philippines — What’s in store for both the coming PBA 48th season and a rising Filipino boxer will be on the menu in today’s PSA Forum today at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

PBA commissioner Willie Marcial will answer questions about the 2023-24 season set to start on Oct. 15, as well as other activities leading to the season start including the rookie draft, pre-season fun run and Media day, Gilas’ participation in the FIBA World Cup and Asian Games, among others.

Boxing legend and promoter Gerry Peñalosa will grace the weekly session together with undefeated bantamweight contender Carl Jammes Martin and father/trainer Abel Martin to talk about the next step in the career of the 24-year-old fighter from Lagawe, Ifugao.
