Kai Sotto to join Orlando Magic in NBA Summer League
MANILA, Philippines – Kai Sotto breathed life into his NBA dream after attracting the attention of the Orlando Magic, who have invited the Filipino big man to be part of its team in the NBA Summer League.

Quoting Sotto's agent Tony Ronzone of Wasserman Sports Management, Henson added that 21-year-old Filipino phenom drew interest from other teams before ending up with the Magic.
3 or 4 other NBA teams expressed interest in Kai but Orlando offered best situation … nothing is guaranteed so Tony Ronzone says its up to Kai to prove himself … Tony was with Dallas when Ray Parks player in Summer League so hes done it again with a Filipino! Awesome!

The 7-foot-2 Sotto recently renewed his contract with Hiroshima Dragonflies in the Japan B. League, a deal that includes an opt-out clause in case Sotto gets signed by an NBA team.
The NBA Summer League is an off-season tournament held by the world’s top basketball pro league that allows its teams to experiment with lineups with rookies, sophomores and players from their respective G League affiliate squads.
