The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — The Sikaran-Karate Association of the Philippines (SIKAP), formerly the Sikaran-Karate Club of the Philippines, will honor its outstanding karatekas for 2022 in a glittery affair on Feb. 18, 2023 at the Manila Hotel.

Manny Inserto, SIKAP national president, said the affair will coincide with the grand reunion of the 3,000-strong association. It was originally scheduled last Dec. 17 but was moved to a later date to accommodate members who are based overseas.

Among the awardees are SIKAP vice president for Luzon Eli Buenaventura, VP for the Visayas Renato Caling and VP for Mindanao Luisito Bautista.

For particulars, contact Homer Mesina, SIKAP secretary-general, at 0933-8520006.
