PPS netfest in Tagum

Action in the PPS-PEPP national age-group tennis circuit shifts to Tagum, Davao del Norte beginning today with close to 150 youngsters clashing for top honors and ranking points in the Governor’s Cup at the DavNor Tourism Sports Complex courts.

Top seed Andre Sing and recent Pigcawayan, Cotabato leg winner Vince Serna of Butuan headline the full-packed 32-player field in the boys’ 18-and-under division while James Aquino and Jayson Battad will enjoy the top two seeding in the 16-U play which will also hold a qualifier to accommodate the big number of entries.

Chelsea Bernaldez and Juliana Carvajal are the marked players in the girls’ premier class.
