MANILA, Philippines — Pasig Sta. Lucia drubbed Imus-Buracai de Laiya, 100-80, to secure third place in the Chooks-to-Go-MPBL Invitational yesterday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Jeckster Apinan and skipper Jeric Teng led the way with 16 and 14 markers, respectively, in the Realtors’ consolation win after falling short to Basilan-Jumbo Plastic Medical Depot in the semifinals the other day, 77-72.

Meanwhile, Nueva Ecija’s Michael Mabulac bested Mac Tallo of Bicol-LCC Malls for the Most Valuable Player plum in the 22-team tilt behind a double-double average of 13.3 points and 10.3 rebounds plus 2.5 assists.
