MANILA, Philippines — Barangay Ginebra star Scottie Thompson is set to roll out the first signature shoe under his recently signed partnership with World Balance soon.

Dubbed as the Scottie 1, the sneaker is the first to feature a variety of World Balance tech for long-lasting rebound and extreme traction, designed and engineered for a professional level of play.

But before we can have a sneak peek of the shoe, the brand just released an image of the new logo for Scottie Thompson’s upcoming signature line.

“Kung titingnan mo yun logo, akala mo simpleng S pero if you look closely initials ko yan and number 6, hindi lang basta design. The slanted S signifies na I’m always ready for action and about movement, tapos yun lightning sa T represents speed as well as explosiveness sa laro," Scottie shared about his logo and the inspiration behind it.

As a result, the logo combines his initials and jersey number with a lightning bolt element. This will be seen in Scottie’s first ever and much-awaited signature basketball shoe, which the brand will launch very soon.

“It’s truly amazing to have my own signature shoe. This is a dream I’ve always had as a kid. For me to be able to put myself in the same light as other athletes who have their own signature line, it’s truly an honor and a blessing for me," Scottie said.

The Scottie 1 will make an on-court debut this coming conference and the collection will likely expand in the future. Keep your eyes posted on this site and watch out for more details.
