COTY series second leg set
MANILA, Philippines — Leading bets in the 2020 Cocker of the Year series are bracing for the crucial second leg on Monday at the Pasay City Cockpit.
After the 7-bullstag derby on March 9, 16 and 23, the top 10 COTY contenders may shape up, said Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association president Nick Crisostomo. Qualifiers will then vie in the third and final leg (Encuentro 5–bullstag derby) on April 3 backed by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000.
LGBA founding members Jeffrey and Aylwyn Sy (Jam SB Sagupaan Winning Line) lead the race with 6.5 points. With 6.0 points are Mayor Rommel Romano (RVR GF), Nelson Uy/Dong Chung (HMG), lawyer Jun Caparroso (Jungle Wild) and the two entries of Jimmy Junsay/Dennis Reyes/Ed Ladores.
